One of the pioneers of the Portland fine dining farm-to-table movement, Wildwood was a true Portland landmark that helped kick-start the careers of many well-known chefs and pave the way for numerous locally-focused restaurants. The restaurant was about to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a brand refresh, but sadly closed its doors before we could show it off.
Identity, Interior Design Consultation, Print Collateral
“We didn’t just want to modernize the look and feel of a 20-year Portland culinary institution, but to subtly speak to the aspirations and creative vision of Wildwood’s chef. What Factory North did so beautifully for us was to take cues from an entirely different medium—food—and translate them into a gorgeous and passionate brand identity.
“Factory North not only oversaw and provided resources for production of all branded materials, but trained our staff in use and maintenance of our new design files—and if you've ever run a restaurant, you know how absolutely huge this is. Tyler, Nicole and team are a blast to work with, take feedback easily and are generous with their knowledge. I would love to work with them again. Fuck yeah!”
